der Rückblick 2011 - part two (come to me)

Come to me
(Hannah Wyble)

I remember the days you used to talk to me about everything/don’t you know that I’m sitting here waiting for you?/ why do you run away from me, when I can heal your pain/now you turn to the world for love, why?/their love is “falaio” as a brotherly love/ it won’t last!/don’t you know that I have loved you with an unconditional love “agape” a love that no one else can give you except me.
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you/before you were born I set you apart/I know the plans I have for you/plans to prosper you and not to harm you/plans to give you hope and a future/set these plans into motion/come to me!
Now hold on a minute/you see I came to the earth as a child born in a manger/I grew up with a mom and a dad/hey, I had brothers and sisters too/don’t think I didn’t go through the same things you do/I was mocked and persecuted/hey they even hung me on a cross/but you see/that was the plan, I died for you.
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you/before you were born I set you apart/I know the plans I have for you/plans to prosper you and not to harm you/plans to give you hope and a future/set these plans into motion/come to me!
Listen to me now/hear me out/I love you, and I want you/don’t you know that I’m sitting here waiting for you/why do you run away from me when I can heal your pain/I want to be your best friend/I won’t take for number two/I don’t want to be pushed under a box/I want to be your number one/but I give you a choice/that’s how much I love you.
And before I formed you in the womb I knew you/before you were born I set you apart/ you see I know the plans I have for you/plans to prosper you and not to harm you/plans to give you a future and a hope/hey, no eye has seen/no ear has heard/ no mind has even conceived the plans I have for you/pray to me, I will listen/seek me with all your heart and you will find me/set these plans back into motion/come to me!
Luke 15:20-24
So he got up and went to his father.
But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him. The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son. But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found..
